Prison Law Office Legal Fellowship

The Prison Law Office Fellowship is an entry level position for a recent law school graduate with a commitment to civil rights and criminal justice, and offers the Fellow the opportunity to obtain training and experience in litigation and other aspects of public interest legal practice. The Fellow will tour prisons, jails, and juvenile halls and interview incarcerated people to monitor compliance with class action settlement agreements; help other attorneys with impact litigation and legal research and writing tasks; correspond with incarcerated individuals who contact Prison Law Office seeking assistance; and undertake special projects and investigations as needed.
