Claire Dinshaw
Jane Kahn Legal Fellow

Claire joins PLO as a Jane Kahn Legal Fellow. She received her J.D. with pro bono distinction from Stanford Law School in 2026. During law school, she interned for the San Francisco Public Defenders' Office and the Federal Defenders of New York. She also represented people charged with crimes in Santa Clara County in the Criminal Defense Clinic and supported the Clinic's work ensuring those charged with crimes recover any property taken from them during their arrest. She later participated in the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic where she worked on various criminal and civil appeals. Before law school, Claire worked for Redstone Strategy Group, a small philanthropy-focused consulting firm. She graduated from Stanford University in 2021, with a B.A.H. in economics and a minor in queer theory.
