Jonathan Gibson

Jonathan joined the Prison Law Office in 2026. Before joining PLO, Jonathan clerked for Judge Nusrat J. Choudhury on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Prior to that, he was a Liman Fellow with the MacArthur Justice Center’s Supreme Court and Appellate Program. There, Jonathan litigated civil rights cases with a focus on state constitutional litigation. Jonathan graduated from Yale Law School in 2024. During law school, Jonathan participated in the Challenging Mass Incarceration Clinic, the Media Freedom & Information Access Clinic, and the Green Haven Prison Project. He was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar in 2024.
