Roz Dillon
Staff Attorney
Roz joined the Prison Law Office as a Staff Attorney in 2025. She received her J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2019. During law school, Roz worked as a clinical student with the MacArthur Justice Center, where she helped litigate cases advocating for the rights of incarcerated people and those who have been harmed by police misconduct. After graduating, Roz served as a Staff Attorney for the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals where she worked primarily on civil rights and habeas corpus cases. After that, Roz rejoined the MacArthur Justice Center, this time as an Equal Justice Works Fellow, to implement a project that used appellate law to soften an arbitrary procedural barrier that often derails civil rights actions brought by incarcerated people. Before joining PLO, Roz was most recently a trial attorney at Loevy & Loevy and the Civil Rights Group, LLC. In those roles, she litigated a variety of civil rights cases—including wrongful conviction, prisoners’ rights, and Fair Housing Act sexual harassment cases—across the country. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in November 2019.
