Soraia joined the Prison Law Office in 2026. Before joining the team, she worked in the U.S. Senate where she oversaw the internship program and assisted constituents with federal casework requests. During her time at the University of Nevada, she interned at the Nevada State Senate where she worked under the Chair of the Judiciary Committee, assisting with research on various criminal justice reform bills. Soraia graduated with a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in U.S. History and grew up in the East Bay.
